About the Team

The Bloem Johnson Team began when Diane entered the real estate industry 25 years ago. For the first 12 years, she worked by herself – and was extremely successful. In 1996, Diane’s husband Dewayne Bloem joined the business. They enjoyed working together so much that they invited Diane’s son Curt Johnson to join the team in 1999.

What makes the Bloem Johnson Team different from other teams? Family. There are no restrictions in the flow of ideas, creativity or communication. Each team member brings specific talents and skills to the business to better serve their clients.

For nearly 25 years, Diane Bloem has had the privilege of helping hundreds of families and individuals buy and sell their homes. Diane’s dedication to her clients places her nationally in the top ½ percent of agents. She provides professional, creative, experienced service to best achieve the goals of her clients. Comments such as, “From the first phone call to the last signature, dealing with Diane was a pure pleasure. I’ve worked with many agents in buying and selling. She is far superior. She should give lessons.” And “You were awesome” are common.

In addition to being a Graduate of The Realtors Institute and Certified Residential Specialist, Diane is one of Minnesota’s few Certified Relocation Specialists.

a_dewayne   Dewayne joined Diane in residential real estate in 1996. It seemed only natural, since he had been involved in commercial transactions for over a decade. Of course, Dewayne was mentored by one of the best – - Diane. He provides the same professional and experienced service to achieve the clients’ goals. He enjoys working with Buyers and Sellers. He holds Open Houses as an additional way to gain exposure of Sellers’ homes and for the opportunity to meet people. His love of people makes real estate enjoyable, even though he takes his responsibilities very seriously. Dewayne’s designations include Graduate of The Realtors Institute, Certified Residential Specialist and Certified Distressed Property Expert.

Curt has a knack for listening to others and making them feel relaxed. He lives by the Golden Rule, and treats clients the way he would like to be treated. He never pushes. He never pressures. He works with them until they are comfortable with their choice.CJ has always had an interest in real estate, growing up with one of the area’s premier agents will help facilitate that.  After getting a degree from Iowa State, and traveling around with a few stops in different careers, CJ decided to give real estate a try in 1999.  10 years later, he’s still works with his clients with the same passion and understanding that was prevelant back at day 1.

In addition to representing buyer and sellers, CJ also facilitates all of the Bloem Johnson Team’s marketing pieces; including Web tours, listing brochures, ads and direct marketing. He uses all the technological tools that are available to the real estate industry. He uses creativity, technology, and in-house marketing to drive demand–with remarkable results.

Once the potential buyers are in the home, staging the property is critical. CJ has obtained his Home Marketing Specialist designation, and is very talented in colors and sightlines. This aspect of selling your home is many times overlooked, and that is always a great mistake!

Other services CJ provides help assisting buyers with new home construction. Almost all of the choices involved in the building process will directly affect the resale value of that home. CJ will be there every step of the way.
